Using applied behavior analysis to map your way towards wellness

Behavioral

Why behavioral? Because everything we do is behavior. By tracking and focusing on the things we do, we can target specific actions that are more likely to bring desired outcomes. Common behaviors addressed include: social skills, communication skills, academics, functional living skills, parenting strategies and developing competence at work or school.

Wellness

We define wellness not just by the time spent on things we enjoy but also by how well we are able to go through challenges that are sure to come up. Wellness can also look different for each person. Whatever it may be, discovering what wellness means for us is one of most important steps we can take to enhance our own lives.

Map

Maps may serve many uses. They can help us see which direction we are heading in, show us how to get to specific locations and they can show us where we currently are. Here the intent is to serve primarily as a guide in much the same way as a physical map or a GPS. The aim is to guide others towards what matters to them through careful identification of actions likely to lead them into a life of well-being.
